¡Colorín Colorado!

Colorín Colorado's mission is to find research-based and best practice information about teaching reading to English language learners (ELLs) and use the power and reach of the Internet to make it widely available to parents, educators, and policy makers. The name Colorín Colorado comes from a playful phrase that is often said at the end of stories in Spanish-speaking countries. There is no literal translation, but the phrase is similar to "y and that's the end of the story!" or "y and they lived happily ever after." www.colorincolorado.org

Below are some resources that may be of interest to NCPIE members and friends. Feel free to share these resources with colleagues and parents; you are welcome to republish anything written or created by Colorín Colorado and Reading Rockets in school or parent newsletters. The Ed Extras and Boletin newsletters under E-newsletters are designed to be used in English or Spanish with parents. I've included resources from our other sister sites as well.
